About the PIZZA programming contest
PIZZA is a 10 hours long programming contest where participants develop bots that compete on virtual arenas over the network.
Contestants need to connect to game servers using TCP/IP and implement commands offered in a specification using their own algorithms.
Each game is split into tournaments and rounds so that participants are motivated to constantly improve their programs.
Finals are preceded by 5 hours long qualifying round that consists of ACM-like and optimization tasks.
During both qualifying round and finals participants use their own computers and programming languages of their choice.
Qualifying round will start at 9 AM CET. Contest system is available here.
The trial round will start at 6 PM CET.
The test system is available at tr.contest.pizzaYou will find your credentials to access the system in your profile.
We have also published rules for the qualification round that will take place tomorrow. You can download them here.
